Information we collect
Directory information you or church staff provide: name, phone, email, address, family relationships, and serving or care roles.
SMS consent: whether you opted in, when, and how (Lost River Together Settings, a staff-recorded agreement, or a START or YES reply).
Push notification subscriptions for installed Lost River Together devices.
Messages you send to our church number, including STOP, START, and HELP.
Website contact form submissions.
We use this information to serve as a congregation: worship life, care, serving, and church communications.
Church texts
If you opt in, we may send alerts, serving reminders, leadership announcements, and weather or service-closure notices. Frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required for membership, worship, or giving.
Reply STOP to opt out, START or YES to opt in again, and HELP for help. HELP replies point to office@lostriverchurch.org.
We do not text a number only because it is in the directory. We do not sell or rent your information.
Sharing
We share information with service providers who send or store messages for us, including Telnyx for SMS and our website hosts. We may share information with elders, deacons, or staff as needed for pastoral care and church operations. We disclose information when required by law.
Children
Lost River Together and church texts are for members and families in our congregation. We do not direct marketing texts to children. A parent or guardian should manage SMS consent for a minor.
How long we keep information
We keep directory and consent records while you are part of church life and as needed for legal or pastoral records. Opt-out status is kept so we do not text you again after you reply STOP.
